Prosser Knowles is a UK-based financial planning and wealth management business. In 2024 as part of a wider strategic review into productivity and efficiency enhancement across its business, a range of technology-based solutions were considered. The integration of AI technology was deemed essential as part of this digital transformation, with particular focus on implementing an AI financial advisor assistant to reduce administrative burden and improve client service efficiency.

Seamless integration with intelliflo office
“Aveni’s clear understanding of the financial planning process and requirements really stood out for us, as well as the easy alignment with our back-office systems provided by the intelliflo platform.” – Hollie Henson, Director of Operations, Prosser Knowles
The firm chose a phased approach to introducing Aveni Assist. A small pilot group of advisers tried it out first, giving detailed feedback and helping shape how it would fit day to day. That early testing meant the wider rollout felt well-prepared and low-risk.
“We are committed to enhancing automation to improve our processes and support our advisers with more effective and efficient ways to work, with an emphasis on the benefits this brings to customers overall.”
Aveni is now firmly embedded in the financial planning team as the main tool for capturing client interactions, whether online or face to face. It produces clear conversation summaries and detailed meeting notes automatically, supports the drafting of suitability reports, and helps the team stay on top of regulatory requirements. The impact has been a noticeable drop in administrative workload, giving advisers more time and headspace to focus on clients.
More broadly, this digital transformation has energised the team. Morale is higher, there’s a growing culture of innovation, and the impact is visible in more confident client interactions and increased satisfaction.
“As a team we want to show our future resilience and using technology to automate effectively is crucial to this. With an open-minded approach to AI and a recognition that this is an evolving technology, it really has demonstrated significant impact. The ability to free up human resources to improve client interactions is hugely valuable to our business.”
Looking ahead, the firm sees enormous potential in leveraging AI to provide deeper insights into adviser–client conversations. This will not only streamline workflows and improve oversight but also enhance the quality of advice. Crucially, the team recognises the opportunity AI presents to support human advisers in narrowing the advice gap, bringing tangible long-term benefits to both clients and the business
“Working with Aveni has been a really good experience. The team clearly understands our market, and genuinely welcomes feedback which is reflected in recent product updates. This level of customer service is seriously helpful to our business and shows a commitment to evolving with our industry in a collaborative and evidence-backed way.”
